Almighty God, you know that we have no power in ourselves to help ourselves: Keep us both outwardly in our bodies and inwardly in our souls, that we may be defended from all adversities which may happen to the body, and from all evil thoughts which may assault and hurt the soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

A Prayer for Those Affected by the Coronavirus

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love.
In Christ Jesus our Lord.
Amen.

New to Wilmington?  Unfamiliar with the Episcopal Church, or Christianity?  Welcome!

Whoever you are, wherever you are on your spiritual journey, our parish members hope that your experience here will strengthen and encourage you.

Browse our website to learn more about us. We hope you will consider worshiping with us online, and perhaps visiting us when we are able to have our in-person worship services again.

Subscribe to our weekly emails--there is no cost, no obligation, and we will not share your email with outside groups.

Do as much or as little as you like.  There are no requirements for being a part of our community of faith.  If you want to be baptized, confirmed, or transferred from another Episcopal parish, we would love to have you--but, it's not required.  Everything we do is open to all.

Please complete our online visitor card. It is not required, but if we know more about you, we can be more responsive to you!

Our regular schedule (pre-COVID) offers three weekly worship times which are opportunities to praise God, celebrate God in our midst, and to join together around the Holy Table for Communion. In addition, we have choral Evensong quarterly usually on the first Sunday of the month.

For now, however, we will continue to live-stream Sunday worship from the church on Sunday mornings at our regular worship time of 9:30 a.m.  Steven Patchell will provide beautiful music for our worship, and we will sing hymns. Fr. Curt will lead worship and offer a sermon. A lay reader will present the lectionary readings.
We will send bulletins electronically on a weekly basis. See the link at the top of the page to read the most recent issue.  Also, see the link to our worship service so you may worship from home.

Please share this information with anyone you know who might be interested to "attend" our service. If you are able to help someone who is technologically challenged access the service, please do so.
Since we are a community, we welcome newcomers as much as we welcome each other. This flows from a knowledge that each person brings incalculable value to the human family and that our parish in enriched by each person who enters.
