THE COLLECT
Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking: Have compassion on our weakness, and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask; through the worthiness of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

LITURGY CHANGES
During the summer season, our liturgy changes. The Great Thanksgiving comes from a supplement to The Book of Common Prayer. We’ll eliminate the hymn at communion. The lector for the first reading will also lead the recitation of the Psalm. Both of those readings are chosen to coordinate with the Gospel lesson for that Sunday, called “track two” on the Lectionary Page website.

Finally, remembering the Apostle Paul’s words,
"Let us not neglect to meet together.”
